PRAISE & WORSHIP TEAM
(One Accord)

At True Joy Healing & Restoration Ministries, Inc. the Praise & Worship Team is comprised of singers and musicians who are a vital part to the ministry of this body of believers.  Consequently, members should view their function as Ministers of the gospel through music and song ~actually as a part of the Leviticus priesthood of Christ’s church.  Therefore, members should be responding to a call from God, our Father, to render this service as unto Him in a manner worthy of His calling.

Membership on the music team (in any way) is a position of Christian leadership.  The primary function then, is to lead under the guidance of the Holy Spirit the congregation at hand in true worship.  “God is a Spirit and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth”. (John 4:24) 

Our Purpose: We emphasize that our purpose and calling is that of leading others into the very presence of the Living God.  There is no calling issued for “performances” and “showmanship” ~ only true praise and worship.  Therefore, members must strive continually through prayer, fasting, and example to be pure in heart before God and others.

Our Vision: The vision of the True Joy Healing & Restoration Praise & Worship Team is to maintain a musical standard of excellence, to share and exemplify the love of God through the ministry of song, and to express the heart of the shepherd while being sensitive and obedient to the voice of God. 

Our Musicians

Musicians:  Our musicians know that relationship comes first.  They understand that not only must they play skillfully with a loud noise, but their hearts must also be wholly consecrated to the Lord.  The group comes together on one accord, and through the Spirit’s direction, they provide a musical flow for the various components of the worship ministry.
